Here are some 70s cushions that I've made which remind me of some of Orla Kiely's more recent patterns. It's quite possible that she was inspired by similar fabrics as she did a print with knifes and forks too. These will soon be available on my cushion website.

I've become a bit obsessed with the designs of the textile artist Jaqueline Groag and this is now my favourite new book! She also made small wooden dolls throughout her life which often cropped up in her work. I'm really fortunate to own a coffee table with her formica design on (black and white) and also several of her fabrics. This is a wonderful book and her life story is fascinating.

Have been making more cushions to list on my new cushion website. These are 50s and 60s fabrics. The large flowers is 60s Heals fabric by Mary Fellows, the purple green one is called Coppice by Mary White and the red one is by Lucienne Day called Herb Antony.
