Am thrilled with my recent vintage Galt toys snap cards find from the 60s. I'm going to frame some for my daughter's bedroom. These images give me no end of pleasure. I think I should have been born in the 60s!
those are great, jane! i love the birthday cake one. i agree - i should have been born in the 60's too. i often day dream about all the neat stuff my grandma owned and i imagine going back to that time and wandering around a department store just picking out all the fabulous 'vintage' things i now spend a fortune on! haha
Wow, I really recognise those images, particularly the hedgehog. I think my brothers and I used to play with a set of these when we were little. Unfortunately we do not have them now!
what a coincidence, I found the same set at a carboot sale at the weekend in Exeter, although mine have squared corners. The box alone is a delight. I've just started organising them into theme pics. I've blogged the pics http://verykerryberry.blogspot.com/

Very nice.
Were these designed by Kenneth Townsend? The beefeater looks very familiar.
Wow, I used to have these in the 70's, my brother & I used to play pairs with them :-)
The good ol' days!
Nice find!
